Methos | ||||||||||||||||||
Born: Approximately 3000 B.C. (Give or take) Immortality: Unknown Teacher: Unknown A.K.A.: Adam Pierson, Dr. Benjamin Adams
Little is known about this ancient Immortal's past. He claims to have known Cleopatra and Helen of Troy, to have seen Christians being thrown to the lions, and to have stood on the same stage with Julius Caesar and the Rolling Stones. He is rumored to be the oldest living Immortal, and is believed to be merely a legend by most of his kind.
Methos has no memory of "pre-Immortal" life, or of his first death and reawakening. His earliest clear memory is of taking his first head, roundabout five thousand years ago. "Before that," he says, "it all starts to blur." Although he is essentially one of the good guys, Methos isn't as heroic as his friend Duncan MacLeod; his foremost agenda is his own survival, so he's not quite as willing to jump in and risk his head as his courageous young friend.
